Filming Live At Asylum

Something is brewing over at Asylum Artists. Today we were joined ledgendary jazz singer Don Francks, and Jazz FM personality, Jaymz Bee.
For a trip back in time touching on just a small part of Don’s 60 year span in the jazz world.
Stay tuned for an exclusive show, coming to you Live from Asylum’s Jazz Lounge.

Doing the right thing with WireIE

Today the Asylum team was on location shooting a video for WireIE, a communications company with a great initiative. The video discusses WireIE’s commitment to corporate social responsibility in not only their own backyard, but to a large outreach of under serviced areas; such as providing computers and technical support for Grenada, and allowing Northern Canadian schools to have the same technological opportunities to first class service that were previously only seen in metropolitan centres. WireIE plans to submit this video for the Capacity Global Award show to be held in Amsterdam this coming November. We are crossing our fingers for them, they say they care and this isn’t just lip service – they put their money where their mouth is! We’re proud to have them as our clients.

Ian’s Film Hunter Green Launches Trailer

Our very own director of photography at Asylum Artists, Ian Carleton shot a spooky and unsettling film back in 2012 that released it’s first trailer today.

“Hunter Green is a well-intentioned, self-delusional man living in Niagara Falls. The film explores his lack of comfort, his frustration with strangers and his obligation to the city as he tries to make sense of his life and why so many people choose Niagara Falls as a destination for suicide.”

We’re looking forward to seeing more!
